From bacteria to humans, the growth, survival and propagation of species depends on a delicately balanced network of protein-protein interactions in space and time. Loss of this balance or deregulation of these interactions leads to a variety of diseases including a host of human cancers. We investigate a small subset of these interactions using a variety of biophysical and biochemical techniques including solution-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and X-Ray crystallography.
